What can Osteopathy Help with?

Osteopathy being the study of functional anatomy, it can help with numerous health and pain issues. We look at the body as a whole and restore motion in the body’s functional movement to help nerve, artery, blood and lymphatic flow throughout the body which leads to the body self-healing and restoring wellness.

Is Osteopathy covered under my benefits?

As members of the OST CAN Alberta association, our benefits are covered under health plans that cover osteopathy. 

Which insurance company do we direct bill to?

Click Here to see the list of insurance companies in which we direct bill to. If your insurance is not listed, it means they do not offer direct billing for osteopathy. You would have to pay upfront and submit the receipt yourself.

What should I wear for my treatment?

Patients should wear comfortable stretchy loose fitting clothing that allows fairly free movement of the body.

How many treatments will I need?

During your initial assessment your practitioner will provide you with a treatment plan accordingly to your body and your needs. Depending on how your body reacts with treatment, treatment frequency may be re-adjusted throughout.
